Vert VRT330 Masticating Juicer

More Views

The Omega Vert VRT350 Juicer is a revolutionary product that features the high efficiency of a masticating style juicer in a vertical design. The Vert is designed to be compact, contemporary and productive. Most juicers process at a speed of 1,650 to 16,000 RPM, destroying many healthy enzymes and causing juice to degrade shortly after being extracted. The Vert VRT350 Low Speed Juicing System processes at 80 RPM, preventing oxidation and allowing juice to be stored for up to 72 hours without degradation.

With the Vert form and function combine to give you the highest degree of extraction and the healthiest possible juice. The Vert VRT350 also features an innovative auto cleaning system that keeps the screen clear during juicing and increases its efficiency. The contemporary design is complemented by a virtually indestructible ULTEM juicing screen that will withstand heavy duty juicing. Ideal for fast pace commercial environments, this juicer combines a contemporary styling with the technology to cater to health conscious clientele.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great juicer, easy to clean. I got this model and brand of juicer because my mother-in-law recommended it and I love it!!!! Juicing organic produce improved my family's health and well-being! I like that it has 10 year warranty as some parts started to break after 1 year of everyday use. This seems to be some factory design defect on a juicing screen and needs to be worked on by the manufacturer. I would suggest metal inforced fixer (or made from stronger plastic) since this is the third time it broke off in 2 years. It is covered by warranty but I need to ship the part back or pay $10 shipping. I hope they will come up with a better solution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So-So I was given this by my boss since they wanted a much more larger and expensive juicing system. It was great for a year or so and then I had to start replacing parts. I juice regularly and now I need to replace the auger, bowl and the 3 little plastic pieces on the base that hold the bowl on are breaking off. There doesn't seem to be a way to fix this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have the Omega 350 I bought 8 months and am very happy with the results except with the exception it leave quite a bit of pulp in the finished product and requires staining(no big deal) I would like to see on the juice screen with stronger locking feet or maybe 3 instead of 2, this is the reason I am writing this review as I need to order a new juice screen before the other foot breaks and I won't be able to use my juicer .I t would also be nice to be able to get parts in Canada .Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Juicer!! I bought my Omega VRT350R about three years ago when my Jack La Lanne juicer broke down after a month. I have juiced almost every day since buying it. I am surprised at all the bad reviews and broken parts. I have never had a problem or had to replace any parts on my juicer. It works the same as it did the day I bought it. I would highly recommend this Juicer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All out disappointment I bought this juicer about two years ago and juice in phases. I'll do it 5 days a week for a few months and then not use it for the next 9...that type of thing. I would guess I've used it less than 100 times. It's had problems since the beginning, making juice that is consistently full of sizable pulp that has to be choked down. It was like this till about two weeks ago when the machine stopped working, somehow, it makes better juice. As far as cleaning, I agree with the people who say it continually becomes harder and harder and then impossible to keep it clean. The buildup is insane. I clean it meticulously right after use and it's still a problem. The plastic parts are breaking, the basket metal is bending, the wipers outside the basket have stopped spinning, and now finally, the motor seems like it is days away from flat out stopping. Spending $400 on a juicer and getting 100 uses out of it makes no sense. At that price I might as well just go to a juice store every day, considering the grocery cost and the time involved. There are problems with every juicer, so the little issues are to be expected, but thinking that I have to spend another $300-400 or more just to continue juicing is pretty awful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great juicer I've read all the reviews and most negative ones make me think the users are other manufacturers commenting. Look this product does what it says it will do, makes great juice. I have had no problems using this juicer for over four years. This product is made for home use not commercial use so don't abuse it. If you force produce through the machine it won't work as designed. I cut my produce in relatively small pieces and let them fall into the auger through the chute. If I need to; I use the push piece to move the produce into the augar area. I've had no problems at all and yes the parts will discolor after awhile no big deal. It comes with a ten year warranty 350 vrt so I'm comfortable recommending this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to put back together Just bought my first juicer as am told masticating better than centrifugal. It got clogged up on first usage, and the main bowl bit kept moving off the motor, requiring me to hold it in place at the same time as holding the button pressed. Also it's a total faff putting it together. I've just taken about an HOUR to make some juice and clear up the mess. Now have dismantled for washing. And I just can't put it back together again. Is it just me? £280 down, and I don't feel like going through it all again tomorrow morning. I can see this just sitting gathering dust...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I get this VRT350 as a first juicer and it is just awesome! I have been able to juice everything I tried in, and each time I obtain a very good quality juice, tasty and with the good amount of pulp (more than a centrifugal and less than a blender). I love it! Even my hubby loves the juices... and the juicer itself! It is not dishwasher safe but it is quite easy to clean if you don't wait after juicing. Healthy and tasty purchase: try it! ;-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Omega 350 HD My wife and I purchased this juicer four months ago, as we wanted a healthier diet. We use it every day. The slow speed produces much better juice quality than our previous high speed juicer. However since we purchased the unit, the juicing screen has broken twice. The great news is that Omega supports its products and provided this $80 part both times without question, the bad news is that the screen broke using it for the products it was designed for. I would like to have a heavier duty juicer. Also, I would like to be able to extract more juice from carrot pulp as some of the twin auger juicer achieve. Overall I rated the juicer a four due to the excellent customer support and quality of juice, I did not rate it a 5 as I had the two breakdowns in such a short time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great warranty I make juice a few times a week for the last 5 years with my VRT350HD. The unit died this week. I returned it to Omega for warranty repair. 3 days later i had a new unit at my door. Excellent customer service and way to stand behind your product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but disappointed After watching a ton of videos on this juicer and others I felt this was the most versatile. The fact that I have to strain the pulp wasn't the worst thing and I did know this before I purchased...but it is NOT easy to clean the screen it is definitely NOT a quick clean up...also it does NOT do soft greens have to use something hard to push it through like a carrot so if you want just spinach juice...totally did not work for me. Also I am confused...which screen is used for greens???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Juicer I have been using this juicer for the past 7 days, i have to admin that the quality of the juice was really really awesome one if your using the proper mix of veggies, leaf and fruits. The lagging side of the juicer is, taking too much time to make a single glass of juice( each time it's close to 1 hr) and cleaning the juicer after using it is a pain. specifically cleaning the pulp are is really time taking process. I am expecting more easy to handle device for the price i have paid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY GOOD! I had this machine for a while now and I will say that is a great beginner machine. Is a masticating juicer, with little oxidation. So it will keep all the nutrition in your juice!! Is easy to work with, easy to clean, and really makes my obsession of a healthy life 10 000 times easier. I use it every morning to make my green juice. And it will juice greens fairly well. But off course not as good as the NC800. But still does a pretty good job. I am very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from vrt350hd Red very happy I bought this machine on a big sale. I really like it. if you clean it properly it will juice the heck out of anything the next time you use it. I have had it for about 6 years and every part is working properly like its supposed to. If it brakes on me i will definitely buy another one or maybe even upgrade. it would be nice to have a coupon if that happens or get a huge sale discount. Just be gentle with it treat it as your diet baby. plus its not so loud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Time Juicer & Love My Omega VRT350! For health reasons, I wanted to start juicing so I was looking for the following in a juicer: 1) make the juice quickly, 2) good quality juice, 3) easy/quick to clean and 4) great warranty. After watching "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead," I debated if I should get a centrifugal juicer (that's what most people recommend for first time juicers). After some extensive research (thank you John Kohler!), I went ahead and purchased the Omega VRT350. It's not as fast as I would like it, but the quality of the juice, the ease of cleaning and 10-year warranty superseded the speed of making the juice. I can also store the juice for the next day if I need to without losing the nutrients of the juice. In order to compensate for the slower speed, I either wake up earlier in the morning or make the juice the night before. It just takes a little planning. I've only had my juicer a month, but I've been juicing one to three times daily (love my Ginger Shots!). I am noticing some of the parts staining from all of the carrot, apple, ginger juice I make, but you can soak the parts and they will look like new. I have experienced a couple of problems (squeaking motor and sticking auger), but their customer service has been awesome! They are quick to take care of any issues with my juicer! I love the 10-year warranty (#4 on my list above)!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Juicer I have been using my vert 350HD for about a month and I like it. I'm able to prepare my juice and clean the juicer before going to work, which is great. The juice from the vert350HD definitely taste better and look better than the juice from my breville juicer. The only down side is the pulp in the juice. I have to strain it, which adds time to my morning routine. I might exchange it for a vertical omega if I can't find a solution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great juicer but... This loses one star for lack of design consideration when it comes to disassembling the top half of the juicer (or main body) from the base (motor). It's a tight fit when assembled and when I go to remove it for washing, it takes all my strength to do some and often at multiple tries. There's no grip to be able to hold the base still while twisting off the tightly secured top half. I realize I'm going to reach a time when I will no longer be able to use the machine simply for lack of being able to clean the parts. I already am discouraged from using it often as a result. It loses another star for it's inability to juice veggies like the carrot well, where the pulp always feel wet. Overall I am satisfied with Omega. Perhaps the newer models have factored these in and are worthy of 5 stars. I would definitely recommend this brand to others but just not this model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This juicer saved my life! I bought this juicer about 2 years ago with the intentions to juice fast. I ended up juice fasting several times. This juicer is my life saver! I've lost 60 lbs and I have been able to significantly decrease my diabetes medication. The Omega juicer has been a trooper throughout my weightloss/health journey. I also have the popular juicer from the movie "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead", but I perfer my Omega juicer hands down!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it but disappointed with only one screen I had a Vert350 previously and it came with 2 screens - a fine and a coarse (for more pulp/fiber) which I loved. This comes only with the fine and I cannot get a coarse, and the price is the same. Bummer. Still makes amazing juice with a fair amount of fine pulp but I would like the option to have a coarse screen. First use was today and the motor starting humming loud after about 20 minutes so hopefully no issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from remarkable mechanism Bought the VRT 350 over a month ago to make best use of all the greens in my garden. I feel good about the process, except that it now has so much pulp it feels like a soup, not drinkable at all. I do alternate fibre and juicy items, fruits, etc juicer came with only one filter, looks like yellow to me, opaque enough, but not sure if i can order a white one, and more importantly if it would make a difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice juicer I'm new to juicing and I bought this a few weeks ago. It's easy to use, easy to clean. I have no complaints about the noise level. It doesn't seem to like celery or kale a whole lot so I try to help it by mixing in harder veggies like carrots to help push it through. I would recommend investing in a strainer because there's a moderate amount of pulp. Overall, I love it and am glad I finally made this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my omega I have had mine for about a year now. It makes great juice, it is easy to clean compared to other juicers I have used over the years. In the last year I had it jam one time and I was easily able to hit reverse and resolve the problem. I fine it works best with thing s chopped small, the opening is small. For a cold press I find that it masticates at a good rate. I could not be more pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great juicer! I bought this juicer 2 years ago and it works as well as the day I bought. It's a beast. It has juiced everything I've put in it and juiced it well. It's really, really well-made and should last a ling, ling time. It's easy to clean, easy to take apart and put together. One of the best things I've ever bought for my health! I love it so much I bought one for my son. He lives it just as much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First Juicer I've Owned and Happy But.... Being that this is the first juicer I've owned I have nothing to compare it to except itself. My first impressions matched up with the Youtube videos I had watched. Lost of juice, a little pulp and dry extracted pulp. Other than the clean up time I was very happy. I've used it sporadically, probably not more than 30 times since I've owned it. The issue I have had the last few time using it is large-ish pieces of carrots, apples, and a few other items not getting juiced. When I start the clean-up and pull out the auger there will be chunks on it and the basket. I've followed all the guidelines about feeding different types of fruits and vegetables not all at once but in small varied groups and haven't changed my process since owning it. I've had no other problems. I've only ever used the finer mesh basket. Overall I really enjoy the juice I get from the VRT350 but I am concerned about it's longevity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings I believe in the benefits of fresh vegetable juice. I bought this juicer about 3 years ago. It has always shocked me if I touch the on off button with wet hands — using leafy veggies or celery clogs it up... so expect your hands to be wet. It's super hard to clean, the auto clean is a joke. I love juicing, I expected a better product for the amount of money I spent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from fails on wheatgrass I tried this machine for wheatgrass after reading reviews and it failed miserably. I made 12 oz of wheatgrass and it plugged up and stopped five times. When it jams up it is very hard to open then clean out all the jammed up grass. In addition, I had to strain the liquid because so much pulp got in. I just bought this and will be returning this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good! Recently purchased and it's done it's job. Juice is good and clean up is easy. Pulp gets into the juice most of the time but I'm not really concerned because it's such a small amount. Usually make enough juice to fill the catcher so a little pulp is ok in my opinion. All in all I'm very satisfied with this product. Use it everyday and it's going strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've had this Vrt350HD for 10 years of heavy use. Bought in 2007. Daily use for almost all of that time. Have had no, zero, zilch, complaints, and it works as well today as it did fresh out of the box. I did my homework, of course, before I bought it, and John Kohlers website and video were extremely helpful (didn't buy from him though, sad to say, as he was out of stock at that time). My criteria were 1) must juice leafy veggies as well as harder root vegetables like beets, etc. and 2) MUST be easy to clean as I didn't want to spend this kind of money on something that ends up in the garage a month later. The VRT met and continues to meet these criteria. The only thing I can say that is the slightest bit negative is that it does not juice soft fruits well...a lot of juice is left in the pulp....a centrifugal or hand uicer is better at that. However, it does juice pineapple acceptably. On the whole, I would buy it again if I had to, but I will probably croak before this thing does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOAK WITH OXICLEAN To the people who complain of the machine becoming grungy. Soak overnight in a sink full of hot water and oxiclean followed by the dishwasher and it will come back like new. there is no paint flaking from the auger as one reviewer stated because it is solid. Learn the machine, rotate your produce and the slower you juice the less pulp you will have.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Powerful, but not Incredible I bought this juicer 2 years ago when I was going through chemotherapy, because I had instructions to consume specific nutrients. It was recommended and I had no energy to do my research. I continue to use it, and although it generally works well enough with the carrots, ginger, greens, apples, beets, etc, I've learned the precise size to cut things so it keeps the thing from jamming up. It does jam up quite a bit though... But more surprising and more frustrating is that I wanted this juicer and was willing to pay the high price because I wanted JUICE, not baby food or a VitaMix style smoothie. I'm disappointed by how much pulp is still left in the juice. Even though a lot of pulp comes out the "juice" is basically like a watered down Vitamix drink consistency. I end up using this almost $400 machine and then still have to strain it through my own strainer. I would not recommend it if you're really looking for a juicer that makes "juice".

Celery pulp gets stuck where the pulp comes out on my omega vert juicer how can i prevent that?

Asked by: Ann 71
Best thing to do is cut the celery down to 3-4 inch lengths. Or run something hard like a carrot or beet through and it will break the celery through the chute. Even this will only unclog the right side of the ejector port. The left side may remain clogged. As long as pulp is still flowing through the port it is ejecting properly. Even if half of it is not flowing.

Asked by: MSPRao
You can not just use with an adapter. If you do, the motor will fry. You need a converter converting the 220 volt current down to 110 volt. The converter would need to meet the specs on the sticker on the bottom of the machine.

we have VRT350 and it leaks under the main basket. After juicing, we lift basket and see ring of juice, is this normal?

Asked by: coreyus
Mine leaks like crazy.  Typically, it's because of a pulp blockage.  Try cutting your veggies smaller, particularly fibrous greens, to avoid long strands of pulp getting stuck and clear the pulp out a few times while juicing.

Is the warranty transferable?

We got careless and the strainer, plastic 'bowls' and black 'tools' developed 'mold'.  Three months ago they were washed and put in white plastic bag until we 'sterilized' them for safe reuse.  That was never done and now  specs of mold, etc show..  Help!

I just received my VRT350, made juice just fine but I am trying to make some more and it does not work, as in not at all. We have plug it on 3 different outlets, took it apart and tried again...nothing! is this a problem with this unit?
