Omega’s Nutrition System is a “masticating-style” juice extractor and more! A masticating juicer juices at low speeds of 80 RPM minimizing heat build-up and oxidation. The auger system forces produce into a tight chamber, grinding and pressing the food to squeeze out the juice from items as fine as wheatgrass and leafy vegetables. With the Omega Nutrition System you can also make all-natural nut butters, baby food, soy milk, almond milk and a variety of healthy snacks. NC800/900 compared to the 8006: The size of the feed chute is larger so you spend less time prepping before juicing. The adjustable end cap with 5-settings increases juice extraction efficiency. Use setting 1 for citrus fruits and setting 5 for tougher items like wheatgrass. OMEGA LOW SPEED JUICING SYSTEM

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going natural After doing many reviews on different types of juicers, I decided to go with the Omega masticating juicer. The price might seem a bit high but to me in the short run it will pay off. I can do my own natural juicing, cold compress coconut milk and oil without heat which helps retain nutrients, many other nutritional food and juices. I had cheaper juicers but was wasting more on fruits than what the juicer was extracting; the Omega juicer extract a lot more juice than many other juicers I've owned. Making your own natural healthy juice is a good way to detox and put the nutrient back into your body. My daughter is a bit on the heavy side and hoping that with the help of the Omega juicer she can lose some weight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good juicer for wheat grass. Such a pain when I use wheat grass. Even in small quantity the grass doesn't get pushed forward enough. It stays on rotator arm and this is what happens (it force feeds itself). Other than that I had enjoyed using this Juicer with all adequate veggies and fruits. Hope Customer service is helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greens Machine This is an excellent juicer for leafy greens. High yield and easy to clean. Compared to my Omega VRT400 the juice has a stronger green taste probably because the VRT400 mixes the juices. The only negatives: the NC800 does not come with a strainer and soft fruits such as pineapple can get struck even when backpressure is reduced with the adjustment dial.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I juice everyday. I have had this juicer for about 2 years and every 6 months I have to order a new screen. I cannot juice wheatgrass without the screen breaking, i have to cutt up the wheatgrass and its a pain. If they can come out with a heavy duty screen it would be great. I am going to start looking for another juicer that is better for wheatgrass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Love it! I bought this about a month ago and have been juicing every day since. It has helped me change my life style. I eat and DRINK healthier. I have a health condition that was causing me pain every day. Now I am pain free and have more energy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Parts break easily Super disappointed in the quality of the components. With minimal use the screen cracked ( they said it was covered under warranty, but charged me for the replacement part) and now the black funnel piece broke off the feeder tube. Both times the parts broke were when I was just starting to do a cleanse....both times this machine has failed me. All the attachment pieces are cheap and flimsy and shake when turned on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good juicer but not that good for wheatgrass! I really love my Omega juicer, but recently I started to incorporate wheategrass juice into my diet and it have been a pain because my juicer screen get spandex and broken in a short period of time when juicing wheategrass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT Started out with a centrifugal juicer and did further research and realized this was a better choice for me as I like to make my juices enough for 2-3 days at a time. Easier to clean and taste a lot better.

What is the difference between the J8006 and NC800HDS?

Asked by: chloe
Hi, The efficiency, process, and functionality of the 8006 and NC800HDS is very similar. The main differences include the NC800HDS having a slightly larger feed chute and an adjustable end cap that you can change depending on what you are juicing.

I thought this was good for wheat grass. I see mixed reviews. Is it different quality screens? or is it a juicing process issue? If process what is the best process to juice wheat grass without wrecking your NC800

Asked by: JLH123
It is the way to juice wheatgrass. Bundle it into a ball to force it through the chute.
